What to expect
Book a time to come and learn how to make your own 30cm x 24cm fabric shade. Pick your fabric from my varied stash, or bring your own, and I'll take you through the steps to make a PVC-lined drum shade. Due to the Studio's small size, there is only room to teach one person at a time. It will be at a relaxed pace with patient guidance from me. Please note that I am teaching you on the proviso that you are making shades for your own use and do not have intentions to sell the shades you make. The session is done during shop hours, so there may be interruptions from an occasional customer. Once your first shade is completed, you can purchase the materials from me to make more by yourself, i.e. metal rings, PVC panels and tape,
Cancellation Policy
1. Booking Lessons Advance Notice: All lessons must be booked at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Confirmation: Your session is officially secured only after a booking confirmation is issued. 2. Cancellations & Rescheduling Student Notice: You must provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule any lesson Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within the 24-hour window are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. Tutor Cancellations: If the tutor must cancel a session, you will receive a full refund or an immediate lesson credit. 3. Missed Lessons (No-Shows) Zero Notice: Missing a scheduled lesson entirely without prior notice results in a 100% non-refundable charge. Tardiness: Late arrivals will still finish at the originally scheduled time out of respect for subsequent students 4. Lesson is for personal use only i.e. the student has no intention of making shades for sale 5. The lesson may be interrupted by an occasional shopper in the shed. More time will allocated to finish the shade.
